Guardianship

Guardianship

If you have a loved one who needs assistance or is being neglected, you may apply for guardianship. Tripcony May can help you understand the guardianship process, determine whether it is appropriate in your situation, and complete all of the necessary steps.

About Guardianship

Guardianship is appropriate in cases where a minor child is not receiving proper care, as well as cases where an incapacitated adult is in need of assistance. If you are able to become the individual’s guardian, you will have the legal authority and the responsibility to provide the needed care for this individual.

How We Can Help

Tripcony May can assist you with guardianships for both minor children and incapacitated adults. In the case of a minor child, we can help you apply for guardianship in cases of abuse, neglect, or foster care. In the case of an incapacitated adult, we can help you apply for guardianship of developmentally disabled adults, adults with mental illness, and elderly adults.
